I have never painted before, is that OK?

Absolutely! We will provide step by step instructions to complete your painting. All you need is a willingness to have fun with the process. In open studio you are given guidance and sketch,

Will I take my painting with me when I leave?

Yes. We use a fast drying acrylic paint that should be dry by the time you leave. We recommend keeping the painting face up in the trunk of your car.

How do I register for a painting event?

Click on the calendar for either of the studios, click on the painting you want, scroll down to pay to register for that class. For private parties, call us to schedule ahead of time. Or complete the online form and someone will get in touch with you. Minimum of 6 adults are needed to schedule a private party.

How do I reschedule or cancel a class?

Please call at least 48 hours before the class to reschedule. Once paid, classes cannot be cancelled or refunded but we can put you in a different class at a later date as long as you give us 48 hour notice. We understand that emergencies can arise, often at a short notice, in that case please feel free to give someone else your ticket. If we cancel classes/events due to natural disasters or similar emergencies we will be happy to give you a 100% credit to use the next time you are able to come. No show will not be credited/refunded under any circumstances.

When should I arrive?

Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early to settle in and mingle. If you're a few minutes late, the staff will help you 'catch up'. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we recommend attending only if you can finish the painting with the rest of the participants. We will not extend the time of the class just because guests did not arrive on time. This is both for private parties and classes. For private parties, we will charge $50 extra per extra half hour, so its imperative that you arrive on time for your event.  You can arrange with your instructor to arrive half hour prior to event time to set up, meet and greet at no extra charge.

My group wants to sit together, is that possible?

At least one person in your group should arrive early to save seats together. Better still if you all arrive early enough to settle in and socialize. We cannot guarantee seating together in classes but we try our best as long as we know who is in the same group.

Should I Tip?

Tipping is a great way to appreciate your instructor! How much? - usually $3 to $10 per person or more, it's up to you. And thank you in advance! For private parties we recommend 15-20% of the total tab.

If you want actual gift cards, please call us so we can mail them to you.

Seating arrangements are made only for paid individuals. However, walk-ins are welcome as long as we have room in the class. You can pay by cash or check at the door. We usually don't have room for people to just hang out.

Do you offer Team Building, Company Social Events and Client Appreciation?

Yes, absolutely. Studio 1 at MacGregor Village accommodates 30 people in one room and 14 in the other.  Studio 2 at High House Crossing accommodates 90 people all in one room.  Please talk to us prior to the event and we will help you plan these special events. We can come up with a special painting for your group, incorporating your company logo, theme, etc, and fun games and raffles, etc. What should I expect at a class?

A professional artist will guide you step-by-step through a fun piece of art while painting on canvas and sipping cocktails during a fun night out with good friends or by yourself. At the end of the night, you'll take home your own personal masterpiece that you created, yourself!

Can we choose different sized canvas?

We usually work with 16X20 size canvas, but you can request bigger or smaller in a private party and it would be priced accordingly. Children work on smaller canvases anyway.

Where should I park?

Anywhere in the complex of both studios except where it is restricted. There is plenty of parking all around the complex. Please arrive early to park and walk to the studio.

Do you offer fundraisers?

Absolutely! We would love to host your fundraiser, please call us ahead to plan your private event.

What if I’ve never painted before?

That’s okay, you don’t need any art experience to enjoy painting with us. The artist will guide you step by step through the entire process. You’ll leave with a finished piece of art that you created yourself! Our classes are great for new or experienced painters alike.

Do I have to paint the piece of artwork scheduled for that night?

If you are new to painting, we recommend that you go along with the instructor. Feel free to change your color palette! You are the artist; you may paint anything your creative instincts desire. The instructor though will only focused on the painting of the evening. We will NOT provide you with a different sketch in a public class. We only paint whats on the calendar.

What if I don’t finish my painting?

It’s our job to guide you through the process and finish the painting. But if you don't, you may come in during Open Studio (at no extra charge) to finish. We love to paint, and would love to give you one on one time during our open studio hours. Check with us before the evening is over. We recommend going with the instructors pace during class. Usually 2 hours is ample time for most of our paintings to paint as well as socialize.

What if I don’t like my painting?

We hope that you have enjoyed the ‘experience’ of painting as much as you enjoy your very own piece of art but if you don’t like it, we can help you work on it at a later date. Let us know how we can help. Acrylics are very easy to do over.

Can I bring my own materials?

We provide all materials needed for class but you may bring any art supplies you like (such as canvas or brushes); The class fee is still applicable.
